FINALLY! An Advanced FM Transmitter with the iPhone / iPod users in mind.
This high quality FM Transmitter is designed to offer the latest in FM signal strength in a small, elegant package. Made specifically to work with and look like iPhone/iPod Touch/iPod, this low-power-consumption FM Transmitter will offer you crisp sound in your car and requires no batteries. It comes with a detachable DC charging cable that transforms this convenient device into a charging station while you listen to your music(optional, of course). You find another FM Transmitter like this. It’s so simple to tune, just find an empty station on your FM Car Radio, and then match that station by using the button on the transmitter. It’s simple to tune, just click once for .1 frequency increments, and hold for 1.0 increments. It’s the perfect, easy solution for iPhone/iPod Music while you drive! This product is not affiliated with Apple, Inc. The terms “iPod” and “iPhone” ar… More >>
I bought this because it looked sleek, thought it would be an easy way to wirelessly transmit so I could listen to my iTune music and podcasts in my car.
I was disappointed when I found the transmitter didn’t attached while my iPhone was in my Contour case. The transmitter doesn’t reach beyond my case, thus, it only works outside the case. When it did work, I would rate the transmission at a B-/C+. I had a Belkin transmitter for my iPod that worked much better. Works okay for music, not for podcasts without much background noise. Static is quite annoying. The product is also fairly light and unplugs easily — kind of a “cheap” feeling to it. I would not buy this again, even if it did fit with my case.

I like the design of this FM Transmitter. It looks just like the design of the iPhone so it makes it look almost proprietary. Its small and simple and works really well. Transmits to my car stereo so i can listen to iPhone music thru the radio. Great transaction

Device works perfect and was designed to look like an extension of the Ipod instead of an add-on. Recommended to all I know who got I-pod Touches for Christmas.

Delivery time was good, I got it quickly. The problems are that the reception is not the greatest, sound not the clearest but it’s better than the radio
stations in my area! The biggest problem I have with mine is that it doesn’t click into the Ipod firmly. I can pull it right out without having to press the sides so it often comes out of the Ipod if I hit a bump & the Ipod moves at all. I wasn’t willing to pay $75 or more for one though so this is an OK cheaper alternative for occasional use. I wouldn’t recommend it for someone who is travelling in the car alot.

Positive:
* It works. (Isn’t that the important part?)
* It’s attractive.
* It’s simple.
Negative:
* It feels flimsy.
* Only one button lets you easily scan up but not down in frequencies.
* Doesn’t clip into ipod / falls out easily if jarred.
* Extremely weak signal gets easily swamped by any interference.
Tips:
* The signal seems to be received better by the car radio if the charging wire is plugged into the device, whether you’re charging or not.
* The signal seems MUCH stronger if you are holding/touching the device rather than, say, putting it in the cup holder. If you’re driving, a safe way of doing this is to simply put it in your shirt pocket.
* It would be a very bad idea to attempt to change the frequency while driving as it requires you look at it, rather than the road, while you do it. If you get interference and it sounds bad, turn your radio off and wait until you can pull over to turn the radio back on and adjust it.
