We found several promising nursing scholarships but she just applied for this one... It's a simple $ 10,000 scholarship and it took about 2 minutes to fill out the application. For more specific scholarships I would advise you contacting the institution you plan on attending and asking their advice! It won't hurt to apply for a few online as well though. There are many opportunities in nursing. Yes, you will have to deal with blood in school. You may have to deal with it for a short time while you get experience, but after you get your degree you can do a whole lot of other health stuff too. Some work in offices filling paperwork, others work on busy hospital wards, some work in schools, some work in big factories, or prisons or military or......you can decide where you want to work.
