  1. The device sounds great in your car, but the people you are calling can barely understand you. Don’t waste your money.

I just purchased this last weekend. I am a little confused. I would expect a car phone speakerphone to do 2 things. One answer calls without using your hands. Two, make calls verbally. For example, “call Home”. This speakerphone does NOT make calls. You can make a call, USING YOUR Cell phone and transfer it but it won’t do it on its own….so much for hands free.

I received the first one as a gift and it malfunctioned and would not pair automatically with my new Motorolla Cliq, and also would not charge properly. Then I got a new one from Amazon and that one seemed to function properly until I tried the FM transmitter. Pressed the FM button and OOPS nothing happened like it was supposed to. Everything else works on this one but the FM transmitter! I’m going to try the Motorolla T505 and see how that one works.

Having this product for a couple weeks now I can say that it is a lousy product and does not work as advertised. I have not been able to get the Jabra Cruiser to sync with my phone book. I have tried multiple phones, that I have synced with another product. I have seen professional reviews that say it will not sync with contacts. The product says it does, but I have not been able to make it work, or know of anyone making it work.

In addition it does not automatically connect back up to your phone if you have been disconnected for 10 minutes. You must first remember to take it out of sleep mode. My wife’s automatically connects each time she gets back in her car.

This was originally supposed to be for the wife, but with those two problems we ended up getting a BlueAnt product that works great.

  5. Randall Lloy says:

Trying to use the FM feature is a joke. I think this is the case for all of these types of devices. Half of the channels can’t be tuned in and the other half are so close to channels that broadcast stronger signals that you can’t hear well and if you play music…well forget it. When using the speaker in the unit itself volume isn’t very good and people are always asking me to “say again” Keep shopping
