It’s awesome except w/out car or house antenna you don’t get reception for xm all the time.

Battery life it great and easy to use.

I paid $11 for this and find it very reasonable for that. Not bad at $15 either. Nice that it has a remote. I use mine with an old suction mount that I had and it’s great. The heater vent accessory won’t fit my vents on my 2007 GMC. The vents fins are too thick and it won’t catch on them. I don’t use the stick on mount either. I think it should have a suction mount included, or maybe a sandbag one. When I bought my first one I was under the impression that it contained an FM sender. I think there’s one built into the cradle, but you have to buy an accessory to use it, and the accessory has to be threaded out to your car antenna. I purchased a cheap FM sender that plugs into the output plug and it works great.

  3. I’m sure it’s good in general, but it’s not working out for my car. First, my car doesn’t have an Aux In, so I can’t play the XM radio over my car’s system without a cassette adapter or an FM transmitter, sold separately. Secondly, I hope not to have this car too long, so I don’t want to use the mount with the sticky pads (although it does come with a second pad). But the vents near the driver are cramped by a large console, I don’t have room to fit the radio in there, so I have to put it over on the passenger side where I can’t see the display. Luckily this was a Christmas gift, so I didn’t have to spend $70 on a lighter adapter and antenna. And a cassette adapter should be $10.

  4. Nice product, but difficult to mount, especially in Ford trucks. There are too many cords to place in the vehicle.

Since I already had car kits in both of my vehicles, I ordered this kit just for the cradle to fit my new XMp3. It fits fine, and works well.

The kit comes with everything needed to do a complete installation. However, if you have an older vehicle, that has only a tape player,

a useful thing to add is the tape player adapter. That is what I use, and the sound is great. So if you want to go on the road with your

XMp3 radio, this kit is the way to go.
